In general, preparing for Attiva is simple and includes guidelines like staying hydrated and avoiding any medications that might thin the blood including over-the-counter.

Your Attiva Procedure

To ensure your comfort during the procedure, a topical numbing cream or local anesthesia will be applied to the treatment area to minimize any discomfort from the RF energy and the insertion site. We can also provide Pro-Nox to help with relaxation and overall comfort during the procedure. Unlike many other RF treatments, Attiva does not require the use of tumescent local anesthesia. Dr. McGinniss will use a handheld device to gently glide underneath the skin in the treatment area to enhance skin firmness and texture. This procedure typically lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour depending on the treatment area.
